A ray tracer will be utilized for accurate lighting and the water will have reflections of the sky and mountains. System and Software: Desktop PC, ATI Radeon 9200 Microsoft Windows XP Professional, MojoWorld 2.0 Project Components: Ouicktime QTVR and PNG maximum quality images Project Responsibilities: Create a planet with mountains, water, stars, and light source. Project Timeline: Week 2: Create website Week 3: Start and finish tutorial Week 4: Generate first images and Quicktime movie Week 5-8: Expand upon planet Week 9: Prepare for presentation Week 10: Present the project to the class Final Presentation: I will install the software on my laptop and use it for the presentation. It has a GeForce4 video card, so it should be sufficient. The QTVR file is universal for any machine with Quicktime installed and PNG files are supported by the integrated Windows XP image viewer.
